CONVERSATION OF THE DAY -- Confirmation bias, also called myside bias, is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's beliefs or hypotheses.
We humans sometimes get so caught up in what we believe we find as much evidence of it to back up OUR OWN perspectives. I say this, yes there are issues that need to be addressed. However, solutions should be discussed not problems, opinions and statements of confirmation bias. I, myself would rather find all the GOOD things in the world, my day, USA, in life, ON SOCIAL MEDIA, in the news, ect ect to point out than the bad. I focus on the bright side of life. If I am unhappy with something I would take action to make a difference IN A POSITIVE, LEAD BY EXAMPLE MANNER. To sum it up. We focus & TALK too much on/about problems and not enough ACTION when it comes to solutions. If you really really don't like something --simple-- do something positive, something contrary to what you don't like. Make a difference not a great argument.
